Busan’s got a thing for neon. The techno music never stops, and the bridge is spitting out some Daft Punk laser show. (at Gwangan Bridge)

Behind the rest stop in Gyeonbuk. Traveling between Seoul & Busan, Korea’s second city. This haze has been almost ever-present, absorbing the city lights at night and leaving the impression that the sky is never truly dark. (at 선산휴게소)

Mt. Fuji over Japan. Thanks to my new Iranian friend Fariborz – who, at age 62, put “Nomad” as his occupation on his immigration card – for making sure I didn’t miss this shot. (at Mt. Fuji)

I have recently accepted that LA’s buildings house more street art than I could ever reasonably see. This example from yesterday’s exploration of the theater district & its tiny coffeehouses, designer consignment shops, and open-faced bars. (at Broadway Theater District)

Self led food tour through Grand Central Market (almond milk lattes, lox smoked by NYers, tacos de buche) ended with a conversation with DTLA’s seediest about gentrification, Manhattan, and architecture - under the skylights of one of LA’s finest examples. (at Bradbury Building)

15 artists, named only by their nicknames, worked on this 27 ft x 24 ft installation. With pieces this big running floor to ceiling, corner to corner, the gallery is filled by just eight works. (at ESMoA)

El Segundo Museum of Art turned its entire gallery over to street artists. The results are intense, almost overwhelming. This piece was created under the direction of an older artist that used eye-controlled assistive technology, as he has since been diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease. (at ESMoA)
